Too much to hope that it's not a one off?

Gutted - would of been good. Anyone know if any more available at Sutton Coldfield? We are not far away from there!

Has anyone tried any stores in Suffolk? Is this wine nice?

We aren't wine drinkers but recently got engaged so starting to think about bulk-buying wine for wedding guests...<3

I assume wine can be stored "safely" enough in a dark cupboard by amateurs for long while without the taste being affected?

This wine is being sold off cheap because it's past it's best don't assume it will keep for any length of time at all.

Personally I wouldn't risk it. Supermarket reds keep pretty well, but whites usually don't. If I was buying a white to drink now, I'd want 2011 on the label.
Saying that, it's generous that you're buying your guests wine; they will be grateful of anything.

Most people would be seriously impressed if you served them a Chablis (if they knew a bit about wine). I doubt too many would say it didn't taste too nice either.
