Just to say these are for eating now - as they will have a Best Before date sometime in November/early December.

I mean they may keep until Christmas, but if you want to go with the date on the box then they won't be long enough dated.

Still not a bad cake for a £1. Could think of worse value.

Yum, although that's the standard price for these in Morrisons.

Their "chocolate coated roll" was 99p. They dusted some icing sugar over it, put the price up 1p and voila - Christmas Chocolate Log.

I know, as I've just opened one and had some. :-)

Megamart.

Don't confuse these with the chocolate fudge rolls you get closer to Xmas.
#4
Yeah you only get those closer to the time. These are just like a swiss roll covered in chocolate with a sprinkle of icing sugar.

A swiss roll that lasts for 2 months??? Or even 2 weeks ??:shock::shock:

Tell me about it!

Bought one last year in mid November and was horrified to see a date on the box of 2nd December!
Phoned up CS and told them how crazy it was.
Put it in the freezer. Was fine for Xmas :)
