Bought some of these a month or so ago when they were last on offer. They we're ok, but not that special in my opinion. I'd rather get a big tin of Roses for a fiver. Not voting either way as it's just my opinion, but I suspect that Tesco's never really expected to sell that many of these at £6.

i agree, £2.75 is about the right price imo and they've probably never sold at £6.
i'm not voting either way.

If you examined the original price sticker before this offer (in November), you would have noticed that the price was marked as £3 until 24th December 2009. So I believe these chocolates were nevr intended to be sold for £6. Still if you like the limited selection of Dark and Milk Chocolates then it's worth the money. Voted hot.

Word of warning. I bought some of these ages ago for Christmas presents but gave in and opened one box on a Saturday night................they were mouldy and I mean furry. Opened the other box and they were the same. Would have been embarrasing if the recipients had opened them on Christmas Day. They'd have thought I'd bought them a pet!

Still waiting for a response from Tesco Customer Service.......over one month now

Last Christmas? Only joking. What was the sell by date? Keep chasing Tesco - good luck!

I am sure they will reimburse it. Tesco brand products may be substandard, pricing can be confusing at best, but I never had a problem with customer service. I am sure that is how they monitor product quality... by looking at the return rate.

These chocs are gross!! Spend your hard earned cash on the M & S ones instead!!

Over the last couple of months, these have been £6 with BOGOF, half price at £3, and now 'reduced' from £6 to £2.75.

Another questionnable full price that some might call bogus or dishonest. The fact that this deal has been voted hot shows this practice by Tesco does succeed in fooling some people.

Sell by date was something like Oct 2010. Yeah I'll keep chasing them and who knows!
