Based on what? Should no-one buy it because you think it won't be any good? What else do you think I shouldn't buy? I think you should buy a keyboard that has a SHIFT key :whistling:

To be honest, I would be scared of falling off when I lean back.

I have made the mistake of buying a cheap sofa, the base has sunk and the cusions are all flat and thats after 8 months. The point of buying a comfortable sofa is a good one and unless you want to keep replacing sofas then make sure you spend a little more for better quality.

i bought 2 x 2 seaters from tesco.com - they were very cheap so I cant complain at the price but they are not amazingly comfy and after 6 months look like they need replacing already. I would either suggest you get this with the understanding that its cheap for a reason (and thats ok if you do :-) ) or save a little and invest in something a bit more substantial, I wish I had!

I bought a sofa from Tesco that was reduced to £150 a couple of years back and it is the most comfortable sofa I have ever sat on :D

Now I have a bigger living room I am disappointed I didn't get 2 :(

However, It may have been more than this one at it original price - I can't remember now!

My sofa is from Ikea, had an amusing name like bonk or something and has lasted a few years and is really comfy, can't seem to find it on ikea's website though.

These should be on display in selected Homeplus stores - Bracknell, Staines, Edinburgh, Cribbs Causeway, Nottingham if you want to try them out. IMO they are quite comfy....

That's good advice.
My mate is an upholsterer and he did repairs for many of the chain stores, Argos, GUS, etc. He was shocked to find the way these things are made - softwood, cardboard and cheap foam. They are sold cheaply for a reason, and the retailer makes a good profit on them. You can put cloth over any old crap and make it look good, but it'll still be crap.

We ordered 2 sofas from Tesco and for 1 day they were comfy. After a month they had collapsed and made sitting on the floor a better proposition. To be fair Tesco did collect them and refund - but going down the path one of the delivery/collection men said that "He could not believe that people would buy without trying" - If possible try before buying, but that was our experience
