JIM1973ANDREWSJIM1973ANDREWS

Sorry if this has been posted before. This is a heads up.

* Order before midday for collection the next day in store after 4pm, orders made on Saturday will be ready for collection on Monday.

Only available from stores which have a Tesco direct desk. See store locator to find the nearest to you.

Great for stocking fillers and possibly can be used with discount codes. Very handy for small items.

Still a shame the closest store to Bedford to collect from is Milton Keynes which is 13 miles away.

Bedford (Riverfield Drive) has a full catalogue shop (items from catalogue in stock in store - like Argos) and also Direct collection facilities.

I can't find anywhere on the website how I can check if my local store supports click and collect........ The store locator just shows some icons like free parking, would it be there if it was supported?

There may be a link but the way I found my store was to order a cheap pair of earphones and go through checkout and then select delvver to store as a on option. The site then gave me a list of local stores that are covered by the Free Delivery. took about 2 minutes to check. Hope this helps.

I always thought this was free from the start as I've bought stuff from there before and was able to collect in a (Tesco Direct countered) store?

I used to just buy items to take it over the £25 mark for the free store delivery and then when at collection desk just say I no longer wanted the item and that way you got your free delivery and not paid anymore for original item you wanted.

Guess they have got fed up of this and the SIM cards etc..

Gotta say though, they need to get themseleves sorted out. I`ve had nothing but delays and items lost in transit on my last 4 orders (2 different stores as collection points).

It WAS free once apon a time to have it delivered to your local store (if they were on the list of stores this service was availalble at) but a while ago now they changed it to a minimum £25 spend to be able to do it :x

Looks like that didn't work out as they planned then

Does anyone have a list of filler items for Tesco Direct, my order is for £19.97 and I need to make it up to £20 so I can use the £5 off! I've searched and searched but can't find anything below a couple of pound.

hiccups with delivery are down to a new distribution centre opening, which will deal with toys and tellys..should be sorted in a week or two.
starting in next week, they are doing a £5 voucher free with a £50 spend and £10 with a £100 spend. £10 off voucher is valid till 1 of november, so a potential £20 saving next week .
