This Detroit rectangular dining table is a classic dining table in oiled walnut veneer. It features clean lines and chunky legs for a contemporary feel. This can be co-ordinated with the Milano leather chairs for a contemporary feel or the classic Lucca & Sorrento chairs for a more timeless look. Was 199.00

Hi there!

Well, I have to sort of warn you all. I also ordered some great offers from Tesco Direct and just this afternoon I had my last delivery. A Detroit Entertainment Unit. It was hugely damaged, when checking the item!!! My 2nd damaged item from Tesco, this week!!!! Luckely I checked the item just before the drivers left, so I could persuade them to take it back - which at first they wouldn't... I think they were fed up with the stairs. Monday they will come and pick up a table which was damaged and by now isn't in stock anymore, in case I whished for a replacement (same with the Detroit Unit). On top of that I was given a wrong delivery date and had to take time off and was waiting for nothing.... And, we discovered all kinds of damage to the walls on the stairways; made by the delivery men!!! Already have spoken with customer services about all these things and I now have to make pics of all the damage on the walls.

So, check things like tables before the drivers are gone!

I have the impression that Tesco is selling off its bad stock. I certainly won't buy any furniture from them anymore. Ikea is much better!!! Hopefully other people here on the forum had better experiences!

I ordered 2 sofas and they did have trouble getting them up 2 flights of stairs and i then noticed once they had gone and unwrapped them a few scratch marks thay had made getting them up, likily they are not too bad and on the back so cannot be seen and i rang tesco and got £70 refund, they didnt even ask for any proof! Anyway turned out i got 2 soafas worth £1600 for £300 bargain:thumbsup:
