Saw these stacked 10+ high at my local Tesco's.

Can't argue against this being a good deal for the price, although I suspect its mightily uncomfortable to sit on. Potential buyers should consider picking up a job lot of Lanacane anti-chaffing gel or skin powder when buying one of these :w00t:

Had a look at this over the weekend. Its a great price but the reviews from peeps put me off it to be honest.

Your avatar provides a good illustration of how one's face might look after 10 mins on one of these things :whistling:

TBH you only need to do steady state cardio to lose fat efficiently and this would be perfect. Think i'm gonna pick one up.

Alright Matt ive started doing 16.00Km or nearly 10 miles in 30 minutes on settings 3 and 4 out of 8 ( 8 being hardest) on my York Exercise bike,i just wondered if this is enough for me to lose a bit of fat around the face (where i pick it up most) and my ass and thighs, im 12stone 12 and stocky but not fat, well just chubbyish around the area's mentioned! lol only been doing the 16km for the last 3 mornings (riding quite hard), stopping after 15mins and having a drink of water and 5minute chill then back on the bike for the other 15min? will i start seeing results soon m8? cheers and reps for any advice given. Thought so! I haven't opened the box yet so mine's going back asap! :x

I know its "only" £35 but that's still money down the drain...:whistling:

I love cycling and am getting annoyed by this bad weather so might jump onboard and get one of these to use inside. Way cheaper than a turbo trainer.

Don't be put off on one review. I picked up a very similar one for a little bit more and its been fine.
Look at it as a months gym that you can use whenever you want.
There's not much inside that breaks down either, the clock feature seems to eat batteries tho.
Seriously, for what it will cost in petrol and parking you should give it a go.

Get youself a heart rate monitor, and you will be able to figure out how effective your exercise is.
Google for "heart rate zones" and theres plenty of info around. Its not an exact science, but can be a useful motivational tool.

Agreed... bought one last year for £20 after the Christmas clearance. Very flimsy poorly made.

Sorry didn't see this. Just do 40-60 mins, 1-2 times a day, couple with a decent diet.

Heart rate should be be between 110-130bpm and no higher. The speed you are doing is far to fast and is working your heart and burning less fat as energy and more muscle. Honestly you are working yourself far too hard. Slower and for longer will burn far more fat.

Remember tho, diet needs to be spot on.
