Wow, fantastic!!!! I love hoki but haven't been able to find any for years. It's white fish like cod but with more flavour. Think of how cod used to taste.

For those making jokes about it please give it a go, it's really tasty fish.

It is indeed a quiet tasty (if chewy) fish!

Having lived in New Zealand for a few years this was the only fish you could get in fish n chip shops.

Tell you what annoyed me about Fish n Chips in New Zealand was that everything was cooked to order (you dont have chips standing around going all yummy and crispy) They also dont have curry sauce!!!

And worst of all they dont have VINEGAR!!! I got the weirdest looks when i asked for salt and vinegar on my chips :P
