NOT EXPIRED, any chance people who do expire things can be named? seems to be happening more and more these days.

This offer seems to have come and gone a couple times over the last 5 months, it is on again.

this is for 4 1/4lbs finest range rather than the normal or economy ones, they are also the fresh not frozen ones and when cooked stay pretty close to the pre cooked size which means there is very little added water.

cheaper and quicker than making my own

they are not showing online at the moment, maybe they wont show online till tomorrow but shelf said offer is on till 24/09/10

this was at the exmouth tesco which is not the largest so i presume bearing in mind the lable said the offer was on for
a couple weeks it is nation wide, my store never has one off promos infact ot hardly has any of the awesome deals posted on here.

454g of burger you are quite right you cannot make these that cheap even with cheap mince, i know because i make home made burgers regularly, picked up 4 packs yesterday and they are easily the best bought burger that ive ever had. ps i was amazed as you said that the size remains almost identical after cooking.

The trouble with all the big supermarkets is that their mains deals are only available in the BIGGEST stores the Locals and Metro's or whatever they wish to call them seem to be run like franchises where they are almost never offered the good deals unless they appear on TV or in the newspaper.
#3
Tried these...they're not very good, even though they are meant to be "finest"

Hi brum, saw these in the tesco metro in torquay last night. Didn't pick any up as I don't eat burgers very often but seemed to be a good price for what they are. heat.

these are delicious-best supermarket burger ever imho-can be frozen, but dont recommend that,it definitely spoils the taste, but fresh they are delicious done in the george foreman grill.

Yes, bought some this morning for the kids. Cooked them and turned out fatty and tasteless (like most UK supermarket burgers).
Unfortunately most British people have never tasted a decent burger and hence the supermarkets get away with selling this compacted meat slurry.

In what way are they not very good?

Pretty crap? In what way?

Fatty and tasteless? Why buy them for the kids? Was it a punishment or were you demonstrating the inadequacies of most British people ?

Had these last night in french bread with cheese slices, fried onions and red sauce and they were lovely. Heat added and not just to cook lol.

well, all I can say is there must be different batches of these-we cooked them in the george foreman and there was virtually zero fat in the drip tray and they were extremely tasty.

Bought some of these Friday from my local tesco express store. Usually these sort of deals aren't at the smaller stores but this one is. Very tasty burgers too! heat added

#22
Same, just bought 2 packs in store - pretty decent for the price. I season them a bit before grilling.

I still dont see how instore price can vary from offline.

When I order online they actually shop at my local store and ring it through the till oO

I do know different regions have different prices so that may explain the variations, hence this deal isn't nationwide.

These burgers must be like Marmite. You either love them or hate them!
