Tesco currently are offering an additional 20% off finest wines if you buy 2 or more cases, this can be combined with the current offer of 37% off Vina Mara Rioja in addition if the price is £150 or over before the 20% discount then you can get a further £30 off with the current voucher code xxply7

5 cases = £150 less 20% = £120 less £30 = £90 so instead of the normal price of £7.99 you are getting it for £3 a bottle, go through quidco and get a further 5% cashback

Note: You can mix and match other cases of the finest range, just make sure it totals £150 or over (before the 20% discount) so you can use the £30 off code

Cor looks like a good deal. Heat added

Gulp!:)

Is it nice though?

Great deal for big Christmas parties, or for company gifts for staff. If there was a white on a similar deal then that would work nicely.

You can mix and match cases of the finest wine as long as it is £150 or over before the 20% discount to entitle you to the further £30 off with the code.

this one is actually a crianza rather than a "full" rioja

however £3 a bottle deserves some heat

here is the link for the finest whites if you want to mix and match :

I am intrigued as to how you define a "full" rioja. :)

Joven, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva are the classifications.

The vina mara crianza at £3 is excellent value.

Is it nice though?

It is 'average'. Saying 'Finest' crianza is like saying finest ordinary. A bit of an oxymoron.

If you're going to buy 30 bottles of wine, it might be a good idea to try a bottle first. :-) Although granted that would make it less of a deal but it's only a good deal if you like the wine.

This is true, but you can return Tesco wine for any reason to a local large store for a full refund. So you can still take advantage of this deal and if you don't like it after trying a couple then return it.

If you want to know if a wine is any good, then go out and buy one and find out. Nobody else can tell you if you are likely to like a particular wine, however cheap or expensive it is.

I'm sure they all will be be very drinkable the only wine I have ever took back to tesco is the vinegaresque sliver bay point white I wouldn't give that stuff to my worst enemy

The drugs don't work scrivs ;)

If you don't want to buy 30 bottles for some reason , there is also a £10 off £50 spend. Works out the same more or less.

I've ordered 2 cases of this, 1 case of the Cotes du Rhone and 2 cases of the Douro.

Thanks to the OP and mrscott31

I offered my dad to go halves when I bought 30 bottles, then he came back told me he'd ordered 30 himself in the meantime!

Thanks poster. The Resling is very nice, and normally 7.99, can order 30 bottles for around 3.70 a bottle.

I mixed it up with three different wines, great deal.
