This small Tesco Finest trolley case has a practical yet elegant design, with features such as a reinforced base section, waterproof zip pocket on inside front panel and a detachable mesh bag. Made from durable nylon. Similar ones sell for around £45+

This is within latest BAA guidelines as suitable for carry on within the cabin.

Hand baggage restrictions
Passengers are allowed to carry ONE item of hand baggage, no larger than:

56 centimetres tall (approximately 22 inches)
45 centimetres wide (approximately 17.7 inches)
25 centimetres deep (approximately 10 inches)

Please note check with individual airliine as some impose stricter guidelines to make more money (Easyjet)

its a joke now that airlines have different hand baggage sizes! As if it wasnt complex enough already what with some airports allowing more than 1 item of hand luggage and others not.

Add to that is the fact the standard BAA measurements are used at passport control so you could get to the ryanair gate and theoretically get told you cannot take your hand luggage with you! Probably let you with an excess fee knowing ryanair.

What gets me more annoyed is the 15kg suitcase allowance and yet someone of 25 stone gets charged the same as as 14 year old weighing 7 stone!
