Yeah... that was my first thought lol ... They're free from - gluten, wheat & dairy products :)

I buy these for my daughter who has a gluten intolerance and actually, they are very nice. None available at my Tesco though.

voted hot!!! my mum has Celiac disease and these are a good price been paying £2 for them for ages, Just hope the reduction does not mean they are stopping selling them.

why not just buy a proper healthy cod fillet (about £2 for 200g)?

Do you have any idea the cost of other Gluten free foods?? At £2 they were still reasonably priced for something thats conveniant to have in the freezer.

"Free from" foods are aimed at people with alergies, illness and medical conditions, it gives them the chance to have relativly normal foods with the convenience that most people take for granted, yes some proper cod fillet may be healthier but the same can be said for for regular fish fingers but sometime convenience wins out.

£1.99 down to 42p is a good saving simple as that

I think they are stopping the Tesco ones as they are now selling some other branded make of gluten free fish fingers. I think it was Youngs and of course they are £1.99!
