Decent reviews and you can't beat the price!

This Tesco HBS07 handblender has a powerful 300W motor with 2 speed settings. This practical handblender comes complete with chopper, whisk, mixing cup and wall rack.

Reviews:
Very easy to use. Mini chopper especially useful for small quantities of breadcrumbs, herbs, etc.

Easy to assemble and use. Many practical uses. easy to clean. 2 speeds

Very versatile and a lot easier than using and cleaning a mixer / blender

Powerful blender, easy to clean and store. I used it only on a few occasions as far and it's been great.Good value for money.

Easy to use, very good value for money.

I was also looking at the debenhams hand blenders, but after looking at reviews on amazon about them they didn't seem to good! Managed to find this, they were originally £20 then they went down to £15 and now £10 =] If it isn't great, its only £10 so not a huge loss! And can always return it easily, but reading reviews it seems ok :w00t:

I bought one, laughable quality, very cheap sharp edges and bits that would rust if it ever saw a dishwasher.

surely you wouldn't expect something at this price to be amazing quality!? It's £10 fcs! I think it's a bargain been using it today and it's been great =]

I have one of these, got it at Christmas to replace a 19 year old one...this is very poor quality and if it lasts 19 months I'll be truely surprised.

I have one of these bought for the same price several months ago. I was actually impressed with the quality- the suction from the blender actually lifted a heavy saucepan up when I was blending soup.

Is sharp not good then? NVM I only need it for whisking, and I can just have it delivered with my weekly shop!

That's what I love about this site, deals, reviews, and helpful tips all in one place. Thanks to everyone!

would be great for uni

Had one of these for 12 months, use it twice a week, mainly using the mini chopper. It washes fine in the dishwaser, even though it says its not dishwasher safe, without rusting.

Recommended for less than a tenner. Bargain!

thought id nip back to let those know who havent had one, this is a fantastic hand blender! I bought one a few years ago for £40 and there is no difference what so ever in its abilities. I've chopped onion, vegetables and all sorts! The plastic is perfectly fine, and in fact very well made considering the price.

The earlier posts may be getting confused with the £4 hand blender without attatchments, the quality of the cheaper one is considerably deflated compared to this one. If your after a hand blender go for it!

Could that be because it's a chopper and not a grinder...duh!

I bought one about a week ago in store (to save paying postage on ordering on line) I am so pleased with it. I have nothing much to compare it with, but it makes the smoothies that I wanted it for and it whips cream and eggs, as well as chopping finely. Thanks for the tip about grinding pepper. I haven't got a dish washer. Just plunge the bits into soapy water after use and they come out clean. All this in something that is small and easy to store. It would have been nice to get it at the present price but then I wouldn't have had it when I wanted it. Delighted!
