my girlfriends kids wreck their clothes in a couple of weeks so these would be ideal for kicking around in.

hot!
#3
been this price for ages
I use them for decorating , gardening etc.
#4
well , it is 1/2 the price of anything in local charity shops.
my old man rates them , but not sure myself >_>
#5
Hardly a proud boast is it, "worth the price"...

Denim wallpaper is the new flock :w00t:

I bought some of these jeans before, they are good quality for the money and not a bad fit, a little on the tight side....but for £3 they are a bargain........So cheap....You could even wallpaper your room with them!

:)

Definitely worth the price...heat added

Bought a few of these before.

Perfectly fine jeans, but they may turn your legs blue.
#10
Your cousin brother? Make your mind up mate, is he your cousin or your brother, or do I need to give Kyle a call?

I'm guessing, of course, you mean your cousin that just happens to be a male.

Long as it's just the legs! :whistling:

The price is child slave labour in appauling conditions. Are they worth the price now?
#13
My DH loves them, they are very hardwearing, but I think they are totally shapeless & unflattering. Alright for around the house, gardening, diy etc

Tesco , price , irrelevant even a £50 pair of Levis is probably stitched by child labour.

very sad ...... I don't know the answer .. your statement could kill many threads in UKHD
#15
Well you get what you pay for .... complete and utter ***** that looks absolutely awful.

Perhaps you should read some of the facts before posting such comments?

Tell you what is appalling....your spelling! "appauling" indeed.........

The price of these amazes me, when i was in tesco i bought 7 apples and it cost more than these, i'm not sure what it is exactly but there is something wrong with that. I wonder if they make much profit on them or run them as a loss leader to get people in to the stores

pathetic and irrelevant comments,,,been this price for ages I bought two pair a while back and they are wearing well,,,

Great working jeans been £3 for years.I once saw these tested on tv with a £100 pair of some fancy named ones,Guess what Tesco's came out on top.
#22
i cant believe i actually bought cheap jeans when i was in high school, its kind of embarrassing to admit it now lol.

You buy jeans at £3 or a Primark polo shirt for £2-50 and only an idiot wouldn't be able to work out where they must be being made. Your choice is to buy it or refuse it. If everyone refuses it we can return to the days of M&S when they were proudly having everything made in the UK. But it isn't ever going to happen, is it?

The people making the items are happy, the stores are happy and the people buying their £3 jeans are happy. Exploitation relative to what you might expect to be paid for making jeans, but good enough when the alternative is picking through rubbish at landfill sites hoping to bag something to sell.

And what test was that? Which pair you'll look a bigger prat in? Not surprised the tesco ones came out on top.
#28
Well in truth it would depend on what the test was "testing" them for - if it was for hardwearing robustness I would possibly imagine the Tesco pair would beat the £100 Versace jeans or similar.

How do you test jeans?? Sounds the sort of test they do on the gadget show (i.e. complete ********). And surely people use old jeans for painting because they were going to throw them out! Buying new jeans specifically for painting is madness!!

I always test my jeans like this, doesn't everybody?

These prices cannot last much longer as the value of sterling seems to be on a downward trend. I would stock up if I as these kind of jeans would never go out of fashion as they are never in fashion in the first place. Great for casual use, and the quality of the materials and stitching is equivalent to those costing 10x more. Mine (£4 adult jeans) lasted longer than the last pair of Levis 501s I had.
#32
Harsh, but true.

Blimey - wearing £3 value jeans is making some statement about where you are in life.

If you can prove that, report Tesco to the office of fair trading.

I think it states that I have no interest in fashion and would rather spend my money on pursuits that are more important to me. People can assume whatever they want though - I couldn't care less!
#36
I dont understand how this is a "deal"? havent they been this price for ages now, its not like its cheaper than they usually are. i dont get this one?
#37
I think i'm ready for my wooden box the day I decide to wear £3 jeans

Looking good isn't important to you? :?

Sometimes it's important, but most of the time not really! I have no problem with wearing a pair of £3 jeans and an old t-shirt if I'm hanging out with mates or going down to the shops for a loaf of bread. Why should it matter to me in those situations?

I didn't say it wasn't important at all. I just said it was less important than other things :P

Quality is same as £20 jeans and I would rather keep my £17 for a rainy day.

Is £30 jeans going to make you look 10x better than a £3 jeans? If you have an ugly face, then even diamond crusted £5000 will not help you.

Yes.. saying that I am prudent and a rational spender and if I was single, wise women will see that I will make good husband material. It will also keep the gold diggers away.
