Just been to my local Tescos and seen that these are reduced to 49p - I know they are usually over £1 so a great buy!

At least mc donalds has chicken breast e.t.c. and can actually been balanced with fruit/veg sticks and milk /juice. This meat is so bad for your kids. It's made out of mechanically recovered meat and all mushed together including things like pigs trotters and snouts, skin e.t.c. I will let my kids eat chocolate e.t.c. but never would let them eat this crap.

I got several oacks from my tesco this afternoon off the reduced shelf for 20p Thought it was out of date but to my surprise it's in date until Dec 21st. Strange.

I would only buy sausages checking the ingredients first and would never EVER feed my kids the crappy tinned ones or cheapo ones. If I can't afford the good ones they can eat something else.

I was brought up on propper meat but when I moved out many many years ago I started to buy cheap crap as that's all I could afford, and it didn't do any harm to me. I think some people are just fussy and go over the top. Not everyone can afford expensive meats.

Like i said if i can't afford it (which rarely i can) i feed my kids something else... lentils, beans, pasta, fish e.t.c. but each to their own
