  We had this come through at the Camra end, it is slightly better made than Fosters, in a blind taste test people thought this was better than some standard mass produced lasgers, 75 percent.

  do they still do 4 cans for 99p of their value lager ? as a dependant alcoholic i can admit they take the edge of the shakes for the night until giro day when you can get back on the white lightning and sherry .... only joking ( only just ! )

  For a light drink after work I agree the price is great. When I'm skint though I prefer to spend the extra 40 odd pence and buy the 8x25cl bottles of tesco imported french lager which imo tastes better and is 4.9%abv.
  
  Anyway I'm adding heat because when someone posted the box of country manor perry (3L £4.99), the post did quite well even though thats the normal price too. I know this is a deals website but i've often seen people post a regular priced product that did well simply because alot of people never even knew it was that price (value peanuts 28p a large bag in most supermarkets), there's alot of them, and they do help people.

  I've been buying these Tesco 4% lagers for years , but i noticed recently the taste has changed , a really distinctive barley taste, like drinking carlings a bit, but i absolutely hate the new taste, its totally ruined a rather decent beer with a refreshing taste . i looked on the back of tin at the ingredience and i noticed they have replaced the Maltrose with Cerel syrup , shame really its completely runind this beer

  I too have been drinking the 4% stuff for years, & it was perfectly acceptable. The last few tinnies that I've bought have been virtually undrinkabe,- even when super-chilled! Did tesco think that nobody would notice that they've changed a good beer into weasel-p*ss. (It's good to know that I'm not the only one to notice this!)
