Seeing as my lawn is turning yellow after cutting it on the weekend I thought I should invest in a sprinkler. This one is on sale, has a few good reviews and looks similar to it's predecessor which had excellent reviews.

Keep your garden lawn fresh and healthy with this traditional style oscillating sprinkler.

Look likes TD have restarted their mini garden sale with reductions up to 30%. The last time they had it I managed to purchase a BBQ chimney starter for £4.20.

More likely you're cutting it too short and/or it needs feeding.

Yes, possibly cut it a bit too short since the grass was growing incredibly fast :D Also decided to get some Evergreen from them as well.
Evergreen Complete 200sqm for £8.40. Cheapest around i think.

I heard seaweed juice is really good for grass. Does anyone know a good seaweed product and where to buy?

I always look at the 5-day forecast before cutting my lawn. If rain is expected, I cut it shorter.

It's not so much the length that's the issue, it's the soil exposure. Less grass means more soil is exposed and it dries out faster. Thicker grass helps in this respect.

I try to cut my lawn often enough to not need to empty the grass bucket during use, just once at the end. If I have time, I set the mower to one position higher, mow it all, then lower the mower and do it again without the grass bucket. Putting the short clippings back into the soil can help a lot.

I bought one of those and they're not very good to be honest. Hardly any pressure comes through them and my water supply is plenty powerful enough.

Bought one of these instead, thanks heat added!

I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago for a £5'er each and cannot fault them, each one covers approx 13-15ft (max) in each direction,Just ordered another 2 to totally cover a 150x30 (newly seeded) lawn.
So a HOT vote from me!.
