Just been...no butter in stock. :(

How about the rest?
#6
Yes waste of time shelfs empty.
#7
well it is late in the day lol (got mine earlier) might get some back in 2morrow or whenever
#8
No doubt all the local caterers will have taken all the bargains to make profits for themselves as none of the stores impose a maximum customer limit.
#9
:-D:thumbsup: got some butter and milk today, lady said only 4 per customer.
#10
Yeh. No stock and when they do butters on limit to 4 only. Voted cold

bargain x

I got some 50p coffee today - wondered why it was so cheap - must be connected to this.

It was Maxwell House 100g reduced from £1.50

maybe add this to first post?
#13
not 2 ltr milk surely... either 2 pints or 1 litre for 50p???
#14
yes it is 2 litre milk - not a mistake - easily the best bargain of the lot
#15
I was allowed 8 blocks of butter?? (Anchor)
#16
Great offers, how anyone can ever mark this cold is beyond the realms of sanity.
#17
Can we order these today for delivery next week?

"The items below are only available for deliveries on or before 07 December 2008."

Ah.
That'll be, "No". then.
#18
50p for bread, butter, milk, eggscellent deal!
#19
No milk in 2 Tesco's in Swansea for me.
#20
Pffft!

Thats because people have stopped buying their cruelly produced products. Like battery farmed eggs, intensively farmed milk, and erm, those poor little white baps they force-feed until they're loaves! ;)
#21
Well they coulda shoved some bacon on as well...lol
#22
Very good deals.
Milk is easily the best one.
2 litres for 50p...got some yesterday...dated 14th December, so good long dates if you want to stock up :)

Not in any of the 6 stores I cycled around 2,over the last 3 days since I first saw it advertised here.Sounds like a dirty tesco trick to get you instor an buy your xmas shopping there with this "no stock" Loss leader
#24
Sent my OH to get some and they'd only let him have 4 butters - unlike me he refused to go back again for more!
#25
Learn to use the exclamation point. Cold.

So it's not just happening to me then. I refuse to get excited about Tesco offers, because they never seem to actually be there. Or I get answers from the staff like, "Oh yes we had the butter offer, but they only sent us 4 blocks."
#27
the 2 litres of milk for 50p sounds good

whats wiseman- is it that filtered milk? never heard of it
#28
good prices - avoid the value BATTERY eggs though!!
#29
Had our weekly shop delivered about 10 mins ago. The delivery man said we had the last of the milk (Wiseman 50p) and the 2 blocks of butter we ordered was out of stock. Our order was picked out before the shop opened so it must be really popular!
#30
iv never heard of any supermarket saying you cant have this number of prodcuts. and butter?

only moron companies are like carphonewarehouse who allow you to buy 2 phones per 3 months. imagine if tesco said 2 butters every3 months

It's perfectly sensible and happens all the time. It's like the Wii in 2006 - one per customer because demand was so huge.
#32
not in my tesco this morning. lots of fresh stuff for £1 but no staples.
#33
just picked up milk and eggs at local tesco

excellent deal

milkshake and pancakes for all the kids tonight :)

went to 4 different stores, over 2 days and the stocks were all empty. Good deal if you find any in stock.
#35
Excellent, got my milk earlier.. dont like the thought of value eggs tho, always try to avoid caged hens eggs

Wiseman milk is milk which is made by Robert Wiseman dairies, they drive lorries with cow designs on them. - you may have seen them around? They supply Netto and Farmfoods also. Tesco usually have a policy of 6 offers per customer. You can usually tell who the shop owners are as all the kids each have a trolley of said offers too!
#37
Got my milk and butter today but no sign of the 50p eggs in my store. Hot.
