Chilli peppers?
Chillies, Hot?
Silly!
But they're peppers, and aren't hot or spicy in the slightest? Have you ever actually Eaten anything more complex than beans on toast?
The problem with tesco peppers, is that they have a bad habit of shelving them under bright intensive lights to make the colours stand out, so they're almost always half dead unless you take the ones out the box underneath...

Not a tool at all. These are capsicums, which is merely one variety of what we know as 'peppers'. They are not in the least bit spicy.
On another note, it's come to something when people really believe that 3 little peppers for 82p is good value. Tesco (and chums at other supermarkets) certainly has manipulated people's minds with it's 'overpricing followed by reduction' policy.

Get yourself a mirror mate - you're showing yourself up to be the 'tool'.

I don't know about good value, but a good comparative price for me personally. If I could get to the market for better priced fruit and veg, I would. If I had a lidl or aldi less than 20miles away, I would shop there as when I lived near to them I did the bulk of my shopping there. However, living in the middle of nowhere, our nearest shop that isn't a "posh" gourmet farm shop is the Co-Op or Tesco. I am not under any illusions about their pricing policies and find it utterly insulting/frustrating, however when the prices are reasonable to me I am happy to take advantage!
So, for me, this is a hot price.

Take a look at the peppers for sale and then read your post agin! you may feel a little foolish
Normal practice for them. I do wonder at some of the deals posted on here. I will often go to a store specifically to buy sooemthing that has a major saving BUT ... 3 peppers!!!!!
