Great spot

Excellent. I filled up with about two years supply when they did the Sainsburys ones but I've only got about a year's worth left. I don't think self-cleaning plates will be invented by 2009 so I'll re-stock.

I stocked up about a year ago and have only just finished them....thanks OP.

They're made in Barrow-in-Furness by a company called McBride. They make washing powder and dishwash tablets for all the big supermarket chains. Chances are these are substandard stock that they thought they'd make a few quid on rather than skip them. Either that or they are very old. Bet Tesco wouldn't be too happy if they new their products were being sold in a 99p shop. Naughty Naughty.:whistling:

Could be as simple as Tesco pulling out of that market. I've been using the Sainsburys ones for the last year and they're at least as good as any other brand.
The 99p store in Liverpool dutifully scribbled out the Sainsbury name on every box with a felt-tip pen so maybe they'll do the same with Tesco's stuff.

Surely they should have scribbled it out before putting them on the shelf.
Tesco haven't pulled out of that market. It's a big seller for them.

Been to Tesco but couldnt find this 2 in 1 pack. They're now pushing the 5 in 1 dishwasher tablets and probably off-loaded all the 2 in 1s to 99p stores :)

Always someone who simply has to be a total and utter fanny. Well done, you did well.

Hi,

R these any good, I heard that you should only use branded one like fairy, finnish etc to get really good results but only owned a dishwasher recently and havn't used anything except fairy one?

May be somebody could shed a light by comparing branded ones with these?

Thanks

Apparently you're the only one who thinks so - why on earth couldn't you just have typed the words into Google like I had to do for you?

Considering the furthest North one is, what Liverpool or something it's hardly a surprise that some people won't know what the 99p store is.

I didn't ask you to google it for me either.

Why not you? Just buy some and try them - they're dead cheap because you're not paying for the TV advertising that's trying to persuade you that the branded ones are better...
