Yeah, because Apple Pay, Contactless, or Android Pay isn't enough. Gotta love pointless short lived vanity projects.

And it won't run on rooted phones

It's not a terrible idea, but seems pointless for the most part.

How often have you done a weekly shop and been like "Oh man, i wish i could pay quicker".

If it's a sandwich or something smaller, it probably still takes the same amount of time to get my card(s) out, or swipe my phone over the contactless scanner as it does to unlock my phone, find the app, open the app etc.

Also, not sure what protection you would have with this? If someone nicks your card and goes on a spree your OK, if they somehow get your unlocked phone (so many people dont use locks!) they can spend 250 notes a time! As it;s via a 3rd party, not sure how/if claiming would be different?

Don't think it Nfc so will work with any phone? Reads a qr code an screen. Wonder if you get points to as will save fishing around for clubcard... Could be interesting

I've been on trial with pay quick for a while now (have been rewarded 1000 points for my opinion) and I love this app. Don't have to carry Clubcard and my usless non contactless card with me. I found this app very useful.

Seems to live in other areas now. Just used it in Bridgewater, Leeds.

Normally use Applepay, but it's a bit of a faff when you still have to get your wallet out to scan your clubcard. This does it all in the same app/ scan.

Grabbed a couple of 750ml bottles of Hoegaarden they had on clearance at £1.57 a bottle. As you do at 06:15am 8)
