Anyone know what the postage cost is?

From T&C:

Please note that a postage charge of £1.50 may be added to your order. Additional charges may be added depending on the contents of your order.

Me too, just finished and ordered.

Software very easy to use and edit facility is fine.
Now have grandchildren's photos in an easy to carry 'boasting book'!
Thanks for original post. H&R added.

Just a bit of info.

You can delete the text boxes and add additional picture boxes so that your album will contain more pix.
You don't need to stick to the format they provide so you can adjust the frame sizes and shapes to suit your photos and the cropping facility means you can get the best from your photos.

if you choose hard cover then yes. postage is £1.50 so even if you dont have the hard cover it will still cost you £6.49 delivered
#29
Is it easy to do?

It does say "Offer not available for online photo books".
I haven't tried to complete the deal, so I'm not too sure what this means, but perhaps this is where the different pricings are coming from.

online photobooks means the ones you use the online method for creating them. The promo is a way of getting you to download and use their FREE software. Meaning you are doing it off-line...
#31
worth a go i spose, h + r added

I have ordered 4 books from my wedding for the grandparents.
3 different ones in total.
i had to do 4 seperate orders, but i got them all at £4.99 + £1.50 p+p
Although it says the code can only be used once it would appear it allows it to be used many times.
i have had confirmation of payment being received on all four orders, so this does work.

Many thanks to original poster, keeps me in the wills of all four!!!!:whistling:
(thats a joke by the way!)

Yeah, that was my first thought when I opened the thread to discover you had to download the software, shame, voted hot though.
#35
has anyone got a copy of the photobook yet?

how's the quality's like?
#36
I've just received mine, and the quality is fantastic. I've never ordered any custom photobook before so I can't compare to Photobox etc. but I'm very happy.

The custom cover option is well worth the extra £2.95, my only complaint is that they've printed a (small) barcode in a white box at the bottom right corner of the back cover. I had a quick explore and it appears you can see that this will happen in the A4 photocover templates, but not the A5 ones.

I'm going to order a few more before the offer expires.
#37
Anyone know how you deselect the photocover option once you have added it. I couldnt get the cover to look how I wanted it so decided to revert back to the linen cover but the software wont let me. Spent ages getting the rest of the book to look good so dont want to have to start again.
#38
Been trying to order my book but the printers website is down Grrrrrr
#39
I've just had a few more photobooks arrive, and am still very impressed. The voucher worked with all 4 of them, so the warning about only being able to use it once when you first put it in doesn't apply.

However, I do have something to point out:

Trying to put text on the spine of a photocover is a silly idea as there is quite a wide range of tolerance on the cover, so the text may end up misaligned. Half my books have the text nicely on the spine, the other half have it spilling onto the front cover.

I can't see you could do that either. Annoying, as I wanted to order another copy of a photobook I've created without the photocover to see what the linen cover is like (and save pennies), but like you say, I don't really want to start the whole thing over.

I think the next time I create a book I'll try and get the contents as near perfect as possible, then back up the file before adding a cover, that way I can go back to the back up if I don't want the cover.
