  Here's the original post on MSE, the thread there shows it working both online and nationwide with about a dozen members having already bought with the glitch.

  The Chicken Masala is only £3.25 normally so buying two of them only costs 50p.

  It's possible your Tesco was out of stock.
  
  Given you can buy a pretty good meal base for 2 people for £1 it's probably worth checking again today (Saturday).

  Working in our local extra but not stocked in our smaller express.
  We had three varieties to choose from Meatballs, tandori chicken and chilli. Freezable so picked up 2 lots, looks like big portions even for 2, can't go wrong for £1 a piece!

  This is definitely still working today and now unlikely Tesco can fix it till Tuesday.
  
  In the thread on MSE it's currently one of the hottest items and I'm surprised it hasn't gone even managed to achieve hot here.
  
  600g of Curry, Chilli or Spicy Meatballs is an absolute bargain for a quid or less.
