Scroll down the page it's the 9th one. I dont know about any Quidco benefits or if the £5 off voucher code could be used.
#2
I ordered 4 of these yesterday and used the £5 voucher so I ended up paying £15, also got 51p on quidco. I think this deal has been mentioned before.
#3
Also port a number and get another £5.
#4
Also, the standard sim is better value because you get £11 compared to £10 on the value sim.
#5
also, when you log onto tesco using the mobile phone number there is an option to have a £10 voucher code emailed/texted for use against a new PAYG phone.

Whoopee! I'm now a pilot light!
#6
The value sim is better value if you only phone and text in the UK though cos the prices are halved. Text cost is only 5p each to any network. :)
#7
I'm fairly certain that you can convert the standard sim to a value sim online or via customer services then you would gain an extra pound!

Very true! This deal has been around for ages!

Is it possible to transfer over the credit from these new sims to another sim that is being used?

Yes! Phone them up and they should transfer it for you, if they get funny tell them that it is advertised as being a voucher which you would've been able to put on any phone. If they get really funny about that then get them to set up ping a pound and just transfer a pound a day.
#13
I've just transferred £11 to my mobile number, if you call CS from your handset it will cost you 20p. One of the sims that I received doesn't work so I will try and transfer this as well.

Hi, how do you do the port a number please?
#15
I just port any number from the free sims that are posted on this sight. The O2 sims are simple. You phone customer services and ask for PAC. They give you the no. over the phone and also send you letter. Phone Tesco customer service give them the PAC and quote PORT 1 and 5 days later the number is transfered and your £5 is loaded automaticaly.

I rang CS again tonight to transfer the credit from one of the sims to my wifes phone and they refused to do it. They said that they had a memo today saying that no credit is to be transferred from promotional sims under any circumstances.
#17
But the £1 "port a pound" a day transfer is still possible.

Yes it is, unfortunatlely one of my sim cards is faulty so I cannot receive the pin. Tesco will change it but it is a lot of hassle for me.

Is it possible to get these changed/refunded instore?

How is it hassle for you? Surely they'll either send you a pre-paid envelope to pop it in and send you a new one out. If you phone them up I would've thought they'll transfer the number and the credit over to another sim. Replace the phone number and credit on another sim (not join the credit with the previous number). They won't want to do that as it allows people to buy promo credit and transfer it over to their normal number. They've started to crack down on this.
#20
I spoke to several CS reps and a manager they will not transfer the credit even though the sim is faulty. I asked if they could transfer the credit and number and they said no. They do not use prepaid envelopes, I would have to send it back by recorded delivery and then claim the money back or they would arrange collection which would mean that I have to stay in for half a day - thats why it is hassle.
#21
Why won't they transfer number and credit? It's simply replacing a faulty sim with one that works. I'm very suprised that they wouldn't do it.
#22
I don't know, I found them quite unhelpful. I'll probably have to send it back. I've just noticed that the minimum call has increased from 5p to 8p as well.
