Fantastic, just ordered one! Will be great for my Protein Shakes :-D

Just to confirm:

1. Find the Smoothie Maker on Tesco Direct, and proceed through the checkout with normal delivery selected.

2. Then when you come to "review & confirm" your order there is a button for eCoupons - click it and enter the voucher number (that is linked to at the top of this thread).

3. The normal £4.85 delivery charge will be taken off, leaving just £10.00 for the Smoothie Maker - bargain!

Voted hot!

I got one instore. Somehow on second use the blade attatchment detatched from the jug when it was being removed from the main bottom bit, leading to smoothie going everywhere. Can't figure out why it happened, just hope it doesn't happen again.

I've done this many times before too - really need to make sure the bottom is screwed on tight. Not nice when you lift the jug and the whole contents of the smoothie flood the kitchen worktop

Got mine today (delivery took two days). Fantastic bit of kit - it's bigger than I thought (which could be a downside if you don't have much room in your kitchen).

Quality is good and it's really powerful as well - I've only had an electric handblender for doing smoothies in the past, so this one is in a different league! :-D

Only real downside is that there seems to be an awful lot of parts that require washing after every use, which I can see will start to be a real pain.

Got mine today and will be returning what's left of it tomorrow! Put it together as described, made one smoothie, and then when I tried to take it apart again it was jammed firm. Nothing I did would make it unlock. I even had my wife holding the base whilst I tried to turn the top part. No luck. In the end it smashed and the jug came off broken!

Would this make these sort of smoothies.

no you have to make them! This is just a mixer to grind them up :p

I bought one of these Moulinex ones at £17.99 from Amazon for my girlfriend:

they do the job well, decent build quality too!! pretty easy to clean as blenders go :)

I got mine and the tap bit was missing. Not overy impressed really.

Going to take mine back as bottom jug bit is stuck to the main unit. Was impressed with the initial success of the unit but it just seems cheap and nasty.
