I agree, lucerysmum - thanks for posting.
Food shopping gone through the roof at the moment, we are all feeling the pinch so ANY money off is gratefully received by our family!
Incidentally, this offer seems to be running alongside the email offer (if you received it) - complete 3x£40 + shops before 21/6/12 on the same account and receive an ecoupon for £20 off a £40 shop on 24/6/12. I am quite pleased that I have managed to do these two offers AND used a clubcard voucher I received for £13 off a £90 shop. FAB.

I believe they do just not on fuel/cigarettes etc
The starbucks coffee I buy went up from £3.37 to £3.99, then they reduced the packet size from 250g to 227g, and kept the price at £3.99 - all in less than 6 months. Tesco's excuse was increases by the manufacturer. I could negiotiate better wholesale purchasing on behalf on my customers than that
As stated its £5 off a £60 shop, because you have to spend a total of £60 to get the £5. The initial £20 to get the £5 Voucher, then another £40 to validate the voucher. Thats an 8.33% discount using the voucher, the coffee went up at total of 30.39%, doesn't really come close to compensating the increase.
Tesco sent me 4x £10 off Vouchers, £10 off a £30 shop - didn't bother using them, why fund a company that you know long term is out to screw you.

I initially thought it was a good deal, but your calculation is the CORRECT one and I would agree. It ain't so good after all.

Thanks for that, I did check a few times but nothing appeared. Must have been a lot of deliveries due to it being a Bank Holiday.
