This time last year, strong bread flour (ideal for making bread) was around 55p per 1.5KG bag then suddenly shot up to around £1.25 in the late summer. However was in Tescos tonight and surprised to find it down to 50p per bag.

Hope this is useful to those who have breadmakers etc. I also use this flour to make pizzas.

Wouldn't surprise me if they'd in cluded the mill's sawdust in it!
Tesco seem to be 'revising' the formulation of most of their products so that you get less for the same price or by reducing the 'Premium' ingredients.

More '**** for less' seems to be their motto now... >(

seems to only be the white that has been reduced on line - which i never use - prefer brown :(
