Most certainly a mistake as the price is supposed to be £1.30. Obviously a good deal if you can get it at this price though.

#10
ok will check soon. thanks anyway
#11
Not worth a trip specially to get it IMHO. ( Given that you would need to buy an awful lot of it to be worth your effort / expense ).
#12

can this stuff be used in diesels ?
#13
confirm this is in-store 28p in Eastbourne cheaper than diesel
#14
For those saying that it can be used in diesels then you run the risk of wrecking your engine.

My Sierra, Mondeo and Peugeot 406 all ran on this stuff and the engines were wrecked so bad that the Sierra one was still going strong after 1/3rd of a million miles.
Maybe I'm just unlucky? :p

Can someone please report if this is working at Watford extra? Thx

..or maybe those old tech diesels (sheds) do tend to run on a wide variety of fuels. Not worth the risk on anything reasonably new (ie direct injection, particulate filter, etcetc)

awesome find! got 64litres and at under 22quid. i cant remember the last time it was this cheap to fill my tank. i think i'll keep 10 litres for cooking, Thanks op.

Just bought a few in my local express. Were marked as 28p on the shelf as well.
#25
Sunflower oil or vegetable oil? Surely veg oil is the one for old dervs, not sunflower?
#26

DAMN!

I need to get some asap!

Btw, please DO NOT use them to fill your tank! It's because of idiots like you that the cooking oil price wetn up a year ago to £2 a litre!
#29
Done in my local. looked like shelf had been cleared. Maybe that have been told to remove stock until tomorrow?
#30
Just been to Watford. None left there. The vegetable oil bottles are scanning at £1.24.

Marked at £1.58 in Cardiff Pengam Green. I took a bottle to scan at the self service tills and it scanned at £0.28. Bought 60. And then another 60. Pengam Green is out! (I think someone took 60 in between my two shops).

It does come up at 28p online.....only lets me put a maximum of 12 in the basket though...........
#37
yeah it does but not worth buying 12 online, if you click on the save badge near the price it comes up with more info on the promotion they have on it and on that it shows £1.58 with 28p saving down to £1.30
