They were saying on the news this morning it will hit 83 by Crimble...but thats a huge drop from 89.9?

Whats source please?
#6
I heard they were going to pay people to take petrol away, it's just cluttering up their petrol stations where they could be selling bags of beef and onion crisps.
#7
About time too.
#8
The 23rd's a Sunday. Sounds like lies to me.
#9
They were saying on the news the other day, that the economy was screwed because petrol prices were falling. I thought it was screwed because petrol prices were high:? Or do we just accept that the economy is screwed no matter what happens:x

is this all tesco petrol stations? mine's still charging 94.9p
#11
Great but nationwide and how do you know?
#12
I've got about 25 litres in my tank if anyone would like to buy it for 86p per litre - a good buy.... for now... then I can fill up on Monday at Tesco and save myself a cool £1.26. Reeeeeesult.
#13
I just heard does not constitute a deal - vated COLD
#14
hmm i will wait to fill my car up then. it was 60 quid to fill her up 2 months ago and was 50quid the other day, next week with should be down to 40quid ish. glad i still got 3 of those 5p tesco petrol vouchers left.

im guessing it will still be 87p ish though

With oil down to $50 a barrel the petrol price should be down to about 83p per litre

Unlike Asda and Morrisons, both of which seem to do these great prices pretty much nationwide, Tesco, as ever, maximises its profit by charging different prices at different outlets - not based on what the petrol costs them of course, but on what they can get away with - in other words, Tesco petrol is only cheap when there is competition nearby, unlike Asda and Morrisons, where you can be pretty sure that you're getting their best price.

:p to Tesco!

Tesco screw pretty much everyone, They only want your money.

If they do bring the price down to 83.9p a litre then I'm sure ASDA and Morrisons will do the same.

It'd be better if they'd go even lower, But to be honest I can't see them knocking 7p off per litre.

Sure they're not just going to give 5p off per litre vouchers?
#24
I can't see how they can go much lower, its about 66p in tax plus 17p ish per litre to produce!

this is terrible - oil is now very low per barrel but the price hasnt kept down with the price changes - they will sure put up prices soon enough but not bring them down - they are just after more profits
#26
im waiting for aldi to start selling fuel - that will lower Tesco's proffits

Morrisons do exactly the same, ensuring the are 1p less than anywhere else within a 1 mile radius of the store.

Next day delivery for a 10kg parcel is £20.70. I reckon it'll weigh in at about 30kg with the containers (which are £4 each) .. so that'll be £95.60 in total.
Let me know your address and I'll get it sent out today.

I have expired due to no confirmation of this at all...seems pointless to have it running purely on 1 persons say so with zero confirmation....cant see they will drop it by 6p in 1 go

BRUM - trust me, I know what you mean. I have a Range Rover, it takes 110 litres of petrol, I have filled it in July this year for £1.22 per litre (Surrey Stealers) and now Im paying 96.9. It now says me almost £25-28 on each full tank.
