Its important to wash your car at this time of year, especially underneath, as all the deposits etc build up and cause corrosion etc. I do mine by hand as less chance of scratching, but mechanical ones are way better than they ever used to be, and are better than not washing.

i use koso-wash

the kosovans/ iraqis do a decent job, i stay nice and warm watching them work and it is cheaper than using either an automated machine which scratches my car, or the do it yourself thing.

koso wash is the future.

Seem to recall they did this same time last year, good if you cant be bothered... I understand there is an expiry date on the washes being redeemed.

Wash my car? But it rains. Isn't that enough?

using one of these is like using a brillo on your best crystal/china.

Not a good idea

Depends where it is and on what car, but if you do care about your car, your best avoiding the mechanical ones.

yes, i like your way of thinking, just stick a bar of soap on the roof and hey presto a clean car.There has to be some advantages of this wet english weather eh :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

The tesco ones near me are DIY lance based ones, so no scratching involved. Washing your car at Kosovo wash is also likely to scratch your car, unless they use decent sponges and the 2 bucket system. As grit on the sponge gets swirrled around your motor..

Good site;
