Tesco utility knife with 5 extra blades on DIY shelf.
Priced as £1, scanned as 25p.

Found in Tesco Extra Isleworth. Not sure if it's nationwide.

UPD: in my Tesco store they actually have the whole range of the DIY stuff reduced to 25-50p (thanks to addyjones1234):

Cheap as chips for the lucky ones who find this, not in my store at all.
Cheap knife but you will need to buy 2 boxes of plasters as well as you will need them

Simply use protective gloves, and you are fine.

What is that?
they had the whole range of the diy stuff reduced in my store the other day to 25-50p

Oh dear, looks like they were made for kids! :viking:
What a great deal for DIY........Or bad deal for all the kids that think they are cool and:oops:
What is that?

Here you go, hope this helps.

i bought a whole loads of diy stuff from tesco, it was all rubbish!

hacksaws blade would not cut butter, screwdrivers handles snapped, screwdrivers handles came loose and span around, clamps fell apart.

all utter rubbish - do not waste your money, there is better quality stuff in poundland!

and seriously if you want descent tolls- pay the money and buy quality stuff, it will pay for itself in the long run,

i would say ttesco stuff is so poor, it is almost a safety concern!

Pay the descent toll - Is Tesco a pseudonym for HELL! I'm not going down there! Sounds dangerous!:p
Umm. I am not sure why anewman post that pic of the kiddy knives, but the OP posted the correct knife, which is a perfectly good one.

I have one, and happily paid a pound for it.

It is NOT one of those flimsy soft plastic things, it is hard plastic with a good firm rubber grip. and slide out, clamp with hand-screw action.

The kife is one of those with 8 snap off blades, and comes with 6 spare blade sets in their own case.

This is better than many standard "Stanley" knives (with the double-ended Trapezoidal blades)
I bought four items from those 50p baskets earlier on, and three of them scanned at 25p so not complaining. I think the best one is probably the small aluminium torch - it's only a single AAA cell so nothing massively bright but useful at the price.
£land often do these for, you guessed, but for a 7 pack - 4 of these are normally useless, but the other 3 are ok.

For 25p for 1, seems better - along with the spare blades. Ideal for snipping out vouchers from newspapers and magazines, and for kids h/work projects (for for them to use!). Also found handy cutting post laminated documents, more precise than scissors (using a ruler of course).

If you really need plasters, get off this site!
