Technika DVD-1030 - this should make these machines multi-region -

1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Press the Setup button on your remote control
3. Press the Next button on your remote control
4. Press the Next button on your remote control
5. Press the Next button on your remote control
6. Press the Next button on your remote control
7. The currently selected region should be displayed on the onscreen display
8. Using the Left button on your remote control, change the region to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 255 for multi-region playback
9. Press the Setup button on your remote control

This might make these machines multi-region -

1. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control
2. Using your remote control, press the buttons 3, 3, 0, 8 and 8, in order one at a time
3. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
4. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control

If that doesn't work try -

Turn machine (and TV !) on

Open tray

type 9 7 3 6

screen should then show Region 2

Type 0

Screen should then show Region 0

Wait for display to disappear.

Both above from www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk

Great advice.
I have used dvd.reviewer many times without any problems, all of my DVd players are multi-region  .

Hi all, something to bear in mind with this DVD player it that it has a big Tesco Logo on the DVD startup/splash screen. My friends brought this last week and they are embarassed every time they turn it on. Still for the price you can't complain. :)
