But, better to be told twice than not at all.
Damnit! I did a search for "kettle" before I posted this and this didn't come up!!!
Mate, don't worry about it. The search engine ain't that reliable. What really pees me off is people who go along the lines of 'repost' or just immediately spamming things that have been on before. We don't all sit here all day looking at every deal as it is posted. I have missed things because of this. Like I said, I'd rather be told twice than not at all. People should just ignore things if they already know about it rather than prevent others benefiting.

It's not a national deal though...I just checked my local in Tower Park, Poole and they're still full price. :(

Errr ok......
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Just imagine how useful that £3 would have been. You could have used it to pay for the petrol and time spent searching for this £1.50 kettle.
Metal kettles with no plastic water gauge parts might avoid this potential risk. There could be similar risks with using plastic containers to heat food in microwaves / conventional ovens, including the plastic wrap covering on top of the ready meal containers, and the containers themselves.
Here's some details on plastics and which ones to avoid:
