Been around for a while. We tend to stock up with it when it is in the shops. It's OK. Not quite as nice a premium, but far, far cheaper.

We tend to travel on snowboarding holidays with this sort of stuff, & give the remainder to the "poor" rep at the end of our stay (might sound cheap but all our small supplies tend to mean a few more beers / food for a rep out for a season rather than simply binning em) lighter luggage on the return leg of the journey unless your missus has been buying up tat again!

Best use I have found for it - and the Morrisons or Sainsburys ones at similar price - refill hand-wash dispensers with it.
#6
normal price for this....... so no deal, been this price for at least a year. cold.
#7
I buy this all the time and find that it is fine does the job leaves me smelling and feeling clean. I have 3 kids and seem to just pour half of the shower gel no matter how cheap or expensive in the bath !

The bottle looks disconcertingly like screenwash! The only drawback I've found is that it's so thick that it tends to remain in big gloopy lumps which are hard to rub over your skin before they're all washed away.

Agreed. It may be sacrilege to say on this site but sometimes things can be TOO cheap.

This also doubles up as washing up liquid!

I like the way you bought 10 bottles to check if it was ok, surely one would have sufficed..

Good deal though

what does being this price for over a year have anything to do with it? it's still a good price, surely the whole point is just to let others know about it

i would not trust this on my skin, would rather smell or use just plain water than use this stuff that looks unappealing and toxic at the same time

Bet if they put it in a fancy bottle and asked £2 for it you'd think it was good!

This stuff clean ok, but if you have any kind of skin issues, sensitivity etc then I would avoid it.. It made my skin very dry..
#21
surely this would KILL ur skin.
#22
It's the Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is drying on the skin and can cause skin problems. Its added to make the product foam up.

I wouldn't use this all the time, but as a one off when short of funds, it'll be fine.
#23
This is fine, bought a load of it ages ago and it smells fine and does the job. Cant go wrong
#24
This stuff is brilliant.

I have shots of it before a night out - completely hits me for 6

Indeed. All personal care products are chemicals of one sort or another, usually all the same stuff just in different formulations.

I like the way all shower gel manufacturers list "aqua" as an ingredient. I guess it sounds more preimum than water!
#27
good stuff

As others posted, difficult to lather due to the consistency but for 10p , it can't be perfect
#28
Have sensitive skin and this is ok quite mild this is no worse or better ingredient wise than premium brands out there. For those that cant get it to foam enough try using it on a sponge

If a hot girl sees this in your bathroom, she will NEVER EVER sleep with you (_;)

Tesco value shower gel.... because you're worthless.

I'm going to buy hundreds of these and go round handing them out to all the smelly people I come across day by day. At 10p there really is no excuse for bad standards of Hygiene.

She might if she knew you were cooking her a curry made from the 7p sauce I saw on here the other day!

The only thing you could do worse than put this on your skin is use it on your car! REALLY? Read the ingredients this stuff is deadly for cars!!! :S 99% of body washes (and intrestingly dish detergent) contain "sodium salts" (check out the list above) - this will rust your pride and joy as quickly as a dip in the channel......go and buy some car wash and save yourself a respray.

Price wise its hot, albeit one step above your "pet chimp picking and eating lice off you" on the personal hygiene scale.

funnily enough my skin after years of using all sorts has reacted really badly with a cheapo deal on Lynx gel, itchy rashes etc..

Whereas it's fine with Asda cheapy shower gel!
& yes A LOT of shower gels have the same sort of chemical, mix, if it's that much of a concern get some woodstove ash & start making some soap! ;)

10p is 10p ,,,lol

Valentines day gift sorted.

Thanks fella

Yep, same consistency as partially melted jelly. Most of it ends up on the floor of the shower.
