Not sure if this is instore too. It's an angel delight type of desert, my little girl loves this.
Can't complain for 2p!

Taste just the same as the more expensive desserts.
As you say, can't complain.
#6
2p for some strawberry flavouring and a bunch of chemicals.

Wouldn't give this to a kid if it was free.

Everything involves chemicals but younger generations are getting bigger all the time (not always fat neither) so maybe its improving us. Who knows

Yeah, 'cos I didn't read the original post and besides, I wouldn't know irony if it fell out of my bottom.

mumbojumbo
What is it? :?

Strawberry powder. You pour it into a bowl, add a lot of milk then leave it in a bowl in the fridge. I believe it recommends 20+ mins, though I prefer to leave it in for a few hours!

Love this dessert, was a big fan of angel delight as a kid. These 6p (or now 2p!) whips taste very similar.

All that milk can't be bad for you.
#26
Never liked the strawberry - butterscotch was best. Makes you glow in the dark though!
#27
My wife loves these ! ! Voted hot :-D
#28
put it into icelolly molds before it sets and freeze it for really yummy icelollies for the kids (and big kids) They taste just like the strawberry mini milks we used to get as kids:thumbsup:
#29
add double amount of milk than recommended to make a milkshake.

i havent tried the lollys looby - thanks for the tip!!

You didn't need to read the original post to realise it was a redundant, unhelpful non-contribution :-D

I thought it was perfectly valid.

The product is a bunch of Strawberry flavored chemicals, and non-strawberry flavoured chemicals.

Nutritionally worse than nothing, and even if it were free it wouldn't be a bargain.

What's your problem? Nobody is trying to force feed it to you or your kids. No one thinks it's natural haut cuisine. Go and preach somewhere else if you can't be constructive.

Your tag suggests your diet isn't all healthy stuff?!

I used to do exactly this for my son when he was little - well, with the butterscotch flavour, mmmm! The great thing is that they dont drip, so even a toddler can manage one without getting all covered in it. Also, the flavour stays all the way through. Delish!

I buy these now and again. I found though that it doesn't whip up as well as Angel Delight, first time I whisked it by hand and I felt it was a bit lumpy. Now I do it in my blender and it is much better. Granted, I prefer Angel Delight brand a little more....but at 2p it's fab! I usually buy it for 6p, wonder if it's 2p locally then. Hope they don't sell it all off and stop making it though.
#36
got some today - thanks OP for sharing

Maybe they should rename this potato and beetroot whip!.

Wow, if I'd realised it was that good I'd have bought more!

Does anyone honestly expect this to be contain anything 'natural'? It's not food, it's an ocassional treat.

Sorry, my mistake.

So 6lb of dog **** reduced from £5 to 99p would be a good deal would it?
