I bought a couple of these on the weekend good deal considering how pricey grapes can be, they had discounts on other stuff too like potatoes etc.

Very good price, but worth noting it is usually much cheaper to buy the "loose" grapes than the packs.

For example typically Tesco grapes are £3/KG for the loose and £5/KG for the packs. Same with Sainsburys etc.

Also by buying loose you reduce the packaging used, and can pick and choose the size of the bunch.

Problem with all this Tesco fruit deals, the shelves are often cleaned out of them, this was case with Grapes last time they done them for £1, same with blueberries and countless other stuff.

Don't know bout other stores, but down here in Peterborough our tescos fruit and veg is very dirty. Usually part rotten and doesn't taste very nice. They'd have to pay me to eat that stuff. Gross

I've heard that making these into a hat wards away shape shifting reptilians. So a bargain at £1.

Weird deal to be honest...

I will vote hot for you Edi, given that you went to the trouble of taking a picture of said grapes with your camera - nice touch.

A fantastic deal as I bought a packet on thursday and they tasted really sweet. :)

Would definetly buy more if there was a Tesco nearby.

As I understand it most Supermarkets have two major stock updates a week, Mon/Tues depending and Friday, can anyone confirm that?
Too lazy to go through all the MSE Supermarket threads...

For real savings on fruit and veg visit your local market and buy a box. 4.5kg grapes £2 which is about 10 punnets. 2.5 kg black cherrys £3. Last week I bought 30 oranges for £2 juiced the lot to get 3 litres of freshly squeezed juice. Supermarkets start too expensive so their overpackaged good are only reasaonable once they are discounted. Suppport the smaller retailer and save.

Tesco, in my experience, have a fresh fruit and veg delivery either every evening (about 8pm) which is restocked overnight for the next day or 2 delivieries over the course of the day if it's a very large store.
