convert your clubcard vouchers with tesco into wine deals . Multiples of £5 and get double. You can convert as much as you want . Vouchers will be valid for 3 months. So long as you buy 6 bottles of champers or 12 wine. and they cost equal to or more than vouchers you have.

Changed from a voucher to a deal, this is not an actual voucher. Also added a bit of info to the title. Please see the links in my signature for help on posting deals. Thanks.

P.S. Merging "tesco wine" into "tesco wines", already in list.

This has been around for a while, but if you can get x4 of the face value from clubcard points with Tesco deals, why would this be hot ?

Just my opinion.

I THINK ITS FANTASTIC because not everyone wants to constantly do a deal every quarter i personally get 35-50 quid in vouchers every quarter and right now dont want an ordinairy deal and gettting double on wine is preferable to their face value.

Reasonable deal, but old news.

Why not save the vouchers until you need a deal then, you dont have to convert to deals as soon as you get them....check out the expiry dates

im well aware of that, my point is i spend so much and earn so much a quarter there will never be enough other deals for people like me to spend them on. Ive got £200 worth sitting in house and will have to spend some this year as some run out next year.

Just a tip.... If you are worried about any vouchers expiring why not make a small deals purchase online for each voucher. The "change" goes back to your clubcard account. eg If you have a £15 voucher just spend £1.25 (IIRC) on days out (you get a £5 vouher which can be used in the restaurants).

or

Just give tesco a call. I once returned hundred of £s of vouchers to be added back into my account - no problem. Hotel vouchers too - no problems. I've sent back an expired alton towers voucher and the creditted that back too - they're pretty good like that.

I like your way of thinking - basically these can roll over for as long as Tescos are operating the clubcard scheme

Indeed. I got a lot of points back in the days of "Beef in Gravy". That was a few years ago and I've still got almost as many points today. I originally sent my vouchers back as they were the ones before they started having online codes (which are very useful). At the time I was weary of the 2 year voucher life...these days...not at all.

My dad had some £5 vouchers expiring at the end of May so I did the small orders trick (do a separate purchase for each voucher you want to use).

I usually order s3010 "Days Out" vouchers. That's another tip.... these always come in £5 denominations and can be used in most places (which are not pay in full / hotels). I find them useful in restaurants - if you order restaurant deals vouchers invariably you'll get a lot of £10 ones.

I tend to keep a "stock" of s3010 vouchers at home so I always have them for restaurants and indeed days out at short notice (even though the vouchers come very quickly these days).

One day I might buy a holiday and use a lot of points I suppose. If it's a choice between using in Tesco and using for wine.....then if you want the wine anyway why not. Personally I try and maximise them - even if it means holding on to them for a while........well, that and the fact I don't like wine ;)

I've read about your exploits before..... all I can say is you are a bit of a legend as far as I'm concerned ! ;-)

I agree that maximising them and holding out for one big or expensive thing is better,I shop at Tescos all the time anyway,so the points are a bonus.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt it possible to buy a car with Tesco deals these days ?

yes you can buy a car hubby and i just spend 9k on a used car and we were tempted to get clubcard voucher deals but the nearest participating garage was 2hrs from us , so the hassle of going finding the car then ordering the vouchers then going bk all with a young baby we decided not worth it. But could be good if u live nearer
