Found these in Tesco instore Cambridge, thanks knowitall5 for pointing out that they are online too at the same price so I guess the price is national.

Awesome! More vegan deals on here please :D
Some of these comments are hilarious to read through. Fad diet? I'll tell that joke to all the lifelong vegans I know.

I love steak, burgers and sausages, and always have - but I'm thinking of going vegetarian. Not just for health reasons but also for the planet's sake.
Thanks OP.
I think the best for the planet would be less people, lots less people.

You got a link to that deal?

Maybe it could be one for donating to the Trump campaign.. X)oO

Does grill not indicate they get heated up? Or is that against the rules?

Well then I suppose you'd vote any fruit and vegetables deal cold considering they're vegan.

Wishful thinking.

I used to only have wholegrain pasta until a few years ago when I read about anti-nutrients in unfermented grains and decided white pasta was probably a healthier option....
Sauce?
Absolutely, the source I have with the white pasta lowers the GI of the overall meal in the same way as whole grain would, without the complication of anti-nutrients.;)
Evidence?
Most of the antinutrient stuff tends to be pushed and exaggerated by the paleo diet industry. Antinutrients are naturally present in many foods however the dose makes the poison. You wouldn't avoid eating an apple because of it's antinutrient content. I don't think a single government or health organisation in the world recommends you stop eating whole grain pasta.
As with many things in life, my food choices aren't purely driven by evidence. If only it were that easy....

Good price for cod ones (the omega 3 ones aren't quite as nice in my opinion) - thanks rubberbullets ;)
This a a good price for Cod ones, often buy a pack of 12 and they are Around £2.25-£2.50, so 20 for £3 is great. No idea why this is cold presumably others are confusing them with the cheaper omega 3 ones, which in my opinion are horrible.
Tesco doing cod loin at £8 kilo so £4 500g make your own fishfingers 100% cod instead of 58% ;)

it took me hours to get rid of the cardboard taste after eating microwaved quorn..
Come on man - this is pure trolling nonsense now (_;)
I remember trying raw Quorn pieces back in the day and whilst being a little bland without a sauce, the taste wasn't there for hours... ten minutes tops. One glass of water later, or tea or whatever, gone.
I think you will try any tactic to discredit veggie products to defend your own corpse eating.
Heard it all before mate and frankly, it is quite pathetic.

I think Tesco's own brand ice cream cones are significantly better than these Cornettos - more flavours, larger (110ml) cones, non-sugary cone wafer (Cornetto's wafer is horrendously sweet) and 1 quid is their normal price for 4.
The Cornettoes were only £1 at FarmFoods last week anyway... and looked like they were always £1. There wasn't any reduction to the £1 from what I could see.

am i being really thick or are SAME DAY and NEXT DAY different things

Hi

I think you are thinking in terms of any given 24 hours.

• same day is before 23.59 on that day ie today.
• next day is the next day between 00.00hrs and 23.59hrs ie tomorrow.
cheers
ps
amazon now offer a new service same day in certain area called Amazon Now. This service - no doubt - is why Tesco is rolling out 'same day' they are worried about Amazon Now gaining traction.

Tesco need to offer contactless payment in ALL stores outside London ASAP they are losing money daily due to this.
How? Not asking to be a dick, I genuinely am interested in this.
Hi
• Simple 'time in motion study' would show contactless is far far quicker.
• Due to quicker transactions this would lead to less queuing time more profit and overall happier customer satisfaction.
• A lot of transactions are under £30.00 but retailer can increase this at their discretion (for apple pay) ie Nandos
cheers
But if no one leaves the queue then they won't lose any money will they?. The shop is open anyway, paying for all associated costs regardless of it taking 30 seconds or 10 seconds to process the payment.

People will shop else where due to dissatisfaction. I have seen many leave 'the' queue fed up, I have done myself.
Ironically enough my local Tesco's got contactless today, the new terminals were updated last night while the store was closed.
The staff are very happy, one staff today said they had been asked about contactless ALL the time. So even the staff will be happier now.....as well as the customers and (Tesco shareholders).

Yeah its seconds faster... you still have to get everything scanned and bagged. Chip and pin is not slow by any means unless youre semi retarded
It is massively quicker and would save money but I don't think they lose too much from it. They would save due to it being quicker and less staff required to do the same amount of transactions.
and saving money is what it's all about

Job seekers allowance £73.10 per week in Northern Ireland. If folk on J.S.A. get told of a deal on protein thighs, they would jump at it.
Here's a tip, if you're on J.S.A. or whatever. Wander down to your local supermarket and suss out when they start reducing (it varies) then you will be able to eke out your allowance. This is a genuine (obvious!) tip.
PS. Don't bother posting your deals or you'll end up with too much competition!!

These cheap kits can be OK for emergencies (though no one round here seems to bother and a light out is compulsory for minicabs! oO) but they are unlikely to contain the right selection for your car. They are poor quality so if your bulbs are difficult to change (many are these days) you may be peed off when you have to do it again a few weeks later.

Absolutely right. I replaced a H7 headlight bulb with one from a kit like this one. It took me a good 30-40 minutes to get the right tools to remove the all the air filter assembly, manifold, cabling etc then mess about trying to fasten in the bulb after the clip had pinged out. Just under two weeks later and the bulb has gone and I need to go through the process again. This time I have gone back to Osram bulbs on Amazon (£10 for a pack of two).

try eurocarparts next time H7 for £1.30 at least half that kit won't fit your car !
euro parts are 14 miles away and not open on a Sunday, so no really use today, Saved a massive amount over Halfords price, and I'm sure some of the other bulbs will come in handy as we have three cars altogether.
Overall I'm very happy with the kit and the price,

Asda sells the same kit, and Home Bargains. HB normal price is £2.50. I used the headlamp bulb, and it died after a couple of months, so may be a false economy.
