Aldi is usually great with their electrical stuff but the car stereos are usually cack.

I bought one from them in June that was rubbish so they replaced with a newer model which is... rubbish.

I'd spend the £40 on a second hand unit from a decent manufacturer if i was you, probably less of a gamble.

I bought this one http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_6920.htm from Lidl for £39.99 last Boxing Day, I would guess they will be the same price this year.

I've never had any problems with it, the same for a branded make would be at least £100+

They are the best :)

I think you should keep comments like that to your self it has 3 years cover so if its no good yes get your self a kenwood etc for more money if you want a brand new unit which i did with USB which is handy then get this is looks smart and works well . :p

Does this allow you to skip folders on mp3's ?

Or is it like most of these cheap units that simply have your mp3's as one long list . Therefore making it very difficult to select an album to play.

Well obviously you can skip tracks - but can you skip albums.

The controls on the picture seems to suggest you can only skip track to track Or using buttons 5&6 jump up10 ( tracks) or down 10 ( tracks).
Decent brands allow you to jump folder ( e.g album) to folder. This is much better - as the general idea is to have 30 or more albums on a SD card ( or USB stick)
