Cheers ra11. Just ordered one. Great price. Voted hot!
#26
ordered....BARGAIN!....Thanks OP

Can also confirm the company is ligit. Used them previously. Rumours are that some of their new stuff looks like returns (my portable tv looked like it had been opened and it was rubbish at picking up digital tv) but that looks a good deal :)

Odd resolution and all the reviews on this site are suspect. They're all 4/5 and 5/5... Hmmm, could they be filtered? lol

Just ordered mine - was going to wait and see if my daughter gets birthday money to buy her one but at this price i think she can have an extra present!!!
The only payment option is paypal as far as I can see - which is great for me as I didn't have my credit card to hand!
Thank OP

I ordered and got a confirmation e-mail from paypal but nothing from unbeatablegadgets - is this normal?
#32
yeah - got to admit I was tempted by the freeview one, but have a mate who has one and he had to get another aerial as the one supplied barely picked up TV unless he was outside...

- re: Order confirmation: I got both confirmation from Unbeatable and PayPal; so my advice is give them a ring if you dont get an email after 30mins: I didnt get mine for about 15 or so - so it takes a little time for their system to acknowledge the order and email confirmation perhaps...

Thanks.

BTW I ordered one of the freeview ones as well; hope I'll get better luck with reception than your mate

Not sure about this one, but I got the twin screen version last year and it plays DivX fine (it also has SD/USB inputs)
#36
Wish it had divx, still a good deal though

Is it region free?

Info found on there own site
Under about us
http://www.fascin8.co.uk/f8/index.php/tevion/portable-dvd/7q-dvd-6322

Is this unit locked to a particular region?
When you receive your Tevion 2368 it is locked to Region 2 (UK & Europe). If you would like to unlock the DVD player so that it becomes multi-regional perform the following steps:

With the DVD player turned on, press the 'Setup' button on your remote control, to enter the system menu.
Press the right arrow button on your remote control until you have the 'Password Setup Page' displayed.
Then press '8888' using your remote control. This will subsequently display a 'Region Code' screen.
Using the up and down arrows on your remote control you can specify the region you require. To enable multi-regional play we recommend setting the unit to: Region Code 0.
Press the 'Enter' button on your remote control to confirm.
There a 3 units to choose from make sure of unit number before trying code
