er, are these designed or made in the uk? If not wont make much difference for our economy, the entire worlds is looking a bit fookt at the mo though so could help in the long run.

Exactly, more sales in the UK should bring more payouts in wages (theoretically) and those should (theoretically) make the customer (and national wealth) richer and happier. So basically, through posting deals and voting hot

good deal but will have to disagree with it being the best tv under 1k
if you have a look at the spec sheets on the panny site youll find the TH-42PZ85B or even better the TH-42PZ81B (with freesat) is much more geared up. just waiting for the price to drop a bit more before i snatch one up.
good deal though. HOT

Same here, this is an amazing deal.

Seriously folks, ignore all the other 37" - 46" tv offers here, this is the only one you'll need.

One of the best TVs on the market and at a scorching price. Wish I had the cash to buy one as if I did, it'd be ordered in a shot.

The Samsung 9 series (A956) with second generation local dimming LED technology is considered by most AV experts to give a picture as good, if not better than a Kuro. They deliver black levels of roughly the same order as a Kuro, but with greater brightness. Who's the tool now?

If you take price into consideration you can pickup a 55" A956 for a little over 2k. Also given the fact a 55" screen is almost double the size of a 40" screen (89.1% to be exact) I would much prefer to pay the extra and get the latest technology which has proven to give a jaw dropping picture.
#27
Sorry, most AV experts? I've not heard many who'd proclaim any Samsung above this panel or a Kuro - the Panasonics have consistently been shown and approved to give a stunning picture for years, yet this isn't good enough and some new panel is now classed as proven? Hmm, methinks you're getting confused.

And, if you take price into consideration, a little over two thousand pounds is close to the price of FOUR of these screens, deary me.
#28
I'm not confused thanks Adamo - I've worked with high-end AV for over 10 years. Go and see one for your own eyes. Read the reviews. To a lot of people the A956 looks better than a Kuro with it's 100% true blacks, very bright whites and outstanding colour reproduction. And regarding the price it's roughly 3 times the amount. Absolutely worth it in my opinion. Deary you indeed.

Trust YOUR eyes, not some 'expert' or a spec sheet

Consider spending over 2k?
are you on this planet?
this deal is for less than 700 quid.

Why are you comparing a 50 inch set to a 40 inch set?
this deal is for a 42 inch set.

Panasonic are tried and tested, constantly winning awards, and represent the best value screens in my opinion.

There are much more expensive options that better the Panasonics, but nowhere near the Panasonic price.

Originally I was simply backing up the guy that was called a "tool". I'm not saying that everyone should buy a 55" screen for over 2k. What I was trying to do was show how proportionately speaking you don't have to spend Kuro amounts of money to own the latest display technology. I don't know about you but even £700 is a lot of money to spend in today's economic climate and so a TV purchase would have to last me a number of years.

In my opinion major advancements such as local dimming LEDs which give true blacks (the holy grail of LCD/Plasma technology) and a stunning picture is worth the extra investment. The 46" version of the A956 is currently available for about £1499 and prices will continue to fall. We have never been in a situation where you could buy the latest and greatest in display technology for these sums of money. The equivalent Sony X4500 models for example are over £2000 more expensive.

The Samsung A956 is currently the best 'bang for buck' display on the market.

Trouble is i dont stop buying , all my friends say im mad as i going out buying things almost everyday , i cant help it ....i enjoying buying things .....think i need some kind of treatment for it lol

Even got stuff if some boxes ive never opened or now want lol

Starting to effect me though so i do need to cut down a bit now , if you knew how much i had spent in 2 years it would me ya eye bulls pop out lol

Dont tell people to keep spending though as i think now is the time people should watch how they spend more carefully ....remember if u get stuff on a card it all has to be paid back with intrest.

Regarding TV its a very good deal , only wished i waited now ;(

If "wellll beta" is slang for "poo" then you're right. Otherwise I suggest you broaden your vocabulary.

I have the Panny TH-42PX80B which I paid about £600 for a couple of months ago. The tele is awesome but I was eyeing up the PZ model but it was about £200-£300 more at the time. If I knew the PZ was going to be this price so soon after I probably would have waited.

Great offer!!!
