'You Can't Say That: Memoirs' - Ken Livingstone : KINDLE DAILY DEAL £1.99
This is my first deal, so be nice! Amazon have Ken Livingstone's Memoirs on their Daily Deal (expires 23:59 Tuesday 29 November) at 92% off.
The book was released only a month ago, and the hardback copy has an RRP of £25. As it is 720 pages long, the Kindle version sounds preferable because of the weight alone!
Anyway, I'll be interested to see how this goes. I have no interest in buying it myself, and I'm sure it will split people on political issues, but I'd say objectively it's a good deal compared to its price everywhere else.

Jump to unread Post a CommentHe's an even more extreme form of the ZaNuLab traitors that deliberately flooded our country with immigrants (legal and otherwise), saddled us with a Human Rights Act that is embellished and gold plated by activist lawyers who laugh at ordinary Brits as they get richer at our expense and who've saddled generations of Young Brits to come, including those not even born yet, with massive debts and interest to pay on those debts for no benefit to those future taxpayers. There really ought to be very many of the last government on trial for treason.
The really sad thing is that the present lot aren't doing much to undo the damage done by Blair and Brown. Their plan is to reduce the defecit to zero by 2015 (and even that isn't looking likely now). The defecit of course is not the same as government debt - the defecit is how much extra the government are adding to our debt - so until the defecit is eliminated our nation's debts go up and up, with not a penny being paid off in the meantime - and here's the sad part, Balls, Miliband and co. bleat on about "cutting too far and too fast", even though government spending and the national debt is still rising.
And still a sizeable percentage of our population would vote for Balls, Miliband etc. either through naked self-interest or because they're too dumb to see what's happened and what's happening to our country.
I despair.
