Variety of ciders - 5 litres only £7.55 if you take your container back! Not a limited time deal but at near 70p a pint well worth a look if you're in the West Country!

My local farm shop charges £7.95 for 2.5 litres of Thatchers so this is hot from me.

I wish I lived closer to Sandford but a160 mile round trip doesn't make it cheap. Tesco have been doing deals on Thatchers Gold lately, yesterday it was 20 x 440ml for £16.
Wetherspoons have barrels of Cheddar Valley in the fridge behind the counter but don't try the Gold on tap in Wetherspoons , I don't know what they do to it, but it tastes bloody awful.
Hot from me though, Thatchers are the cider kings in my opinion.

Thatchers make great cider. Finally time for that trip to Bristol methinks.

nah its farm shop only.. this is from the barrels!

Thatchers is my Mecca.. and the best part is that it is in walking distance!

At this price you have to ask yourself, can you afford not to be drunk?

I don't get it. It's not fizzy and not made by a lager brewer? What is it? I've never seen this before in my supermarket, it can't be very good.

Have some heat for effort though you bumpkin.

Sensational deal. Super cider in the sun. Smokin'

I like how it comes in a container that could easily be mistaken for anti-freeze.

I fancy some Thatchers Cheddar Valley - a reddy/orange cider that almost glows.

Great stuff

It's much better than most beer though! A can of Carling or Thatchers from the barrel... Hmm...

Yeah a few two many glasses when I made that calculations - redid it and I think it's around 84.7p per pint

I buy at Wilkins Cider Farm, Mudgely near Wedmore. He charges £1.75/litre for traditional still farmhouse cider.

Roger's cider is much better than the barrelled stuff from thatchers, still both good though.

Great stuff

Spoons have it in their current cider festival, should be across the country.

A fond memory of cider was seeing 3 chaps at Beautiful Days festival, each with gallon bottle of real cider (like in the pic). Someone pointed out that they sell real ale at the bar, to which one of them responded:

"Ahh, but this stuff takes you to a higher place!"
