I bought this last week as my 8yo was reading a similar book at school, and I remembered how good it was.... We are about 3/4 of the way through it now and both my 8yo and 6yo are really enjoying it. They soon stopped complaining about the lack of color and dolby digital sound.

cheers been trying to get this for ages

Don't forget its black and white, even though case is in colour. Excellent series and music. I bought it last time it was cheap, having last seen it aged 8 in 1965.

Thanks for posting this.
I remember living in black and white....
Presumably we can only watch it during childrens' hour? :)

Thanks for the Tesco Entertainment deal, just ordered at £3.97. Can't wait to receive it, NOSTALGIA here we come! I remember as a child getting excited waiting each week waiting for the next episode, the soundtrack still buzzes in my head and yes it's in black and white, life was so much 'simples'.... back then!

I've expired this in error but wanted to point out that the price has now fallen from original posting to £3.97. Also just had email from Amazon confirming back in stock.

Hope this helps sorry I expired prematurely 16 copies left as I type
