Tintin, the world's most famous boy reporter embarked on his very first adventure in 1929. From the beginning he was accompanied by his faithful dog, Snowy and for more than half a century this intrepid pair journeyed to exploits around the world. Along the way they encountered a colourful cast of characters who have become familiar to generations of children and adults: Captain Haddock, Thompson and Thomson, Professor Calculus and Oliveira da Figueira among many others.

The eternally youthful Tintin celebrated his 75th birthday in 2004 and you can enjoy all of his adventures with this 10 disc box set featuring all 21 adventures.

Thanks Edi. Another great find.

Bought these last year and wasnt disappointed. The films are very faithful to the book in my opinion.

These are great DVD's to own. Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson have teamed up to begin making a big screen trilogy of Tin Tin's adventures so these DVD's are going to be a "must own" in a year or two I think. I'm willing to bet the price will shoot up then.
#9
how many adventures are in the boxset?
#10
There are 21 adventures in the boxset, 24 books were actually translated into English, Tin Tin and Alph Art was published posthumously so I guess this may be why it isn't included. The first two Tin Tin books published were Tin Tin in the land of the Soviets and Tin Tin in the Congo. They were both very heavily criticised for their "politically incorrect" content so this may be why they aren't included.

Got an email on the 25th (ordered 18th) Jan, that they are still awaiting stock from the supplier.

Obviously they don't allocate stock as you order it because it definitely said In Stock when I bought it.

And I need it for a present in two weeks! Grr.
