im not a fan either, but for people who are hardcore beatle people it
will be a good deal. i think this site should move away from its 50p
offers a bit and maybe find stuff that is more expensive, but a good
deal nonetheless. in this case to some people anyway
#4
Nice item and a lot of music on there but £50 max surely...
#5
That is in no way a "deal".
#6
im still waiting for that hardcore beatles fan lol
#7
heat from me - im not going to buy one but im sure its good for some.
#8
Handy if you don't want to have all those cds cluttering up your house. Bummer if you mislay it though.
FLAC 24 bit resolution so probably better sounding than the cd version if you have an audiophile computer to play it on.

Great investment....

"A specially designed Flash interface... "

Does that mean the MP3 files cannot be copied off the USB stick and put on an iPod?
#12
Not for me but very good deal in my eyes - memorabiliaba generally goes up in value making this potentially good investment with limited supply
#13
Am I missing something?

"the 16MB USB's audio and visual contents" - will amount to only 2 songs, surely?!
#14
I'm gonna buy all 100 of them and destroy 99 of them, making the last one the most awesomest unique USB device on teh planet!

Granted it's more of a computer device rather than a computer per se, but I just find it interesting (and welcomingly nice) that Apple Corp. and Apple Computers have since buried the legal hatchet.
#18
Nice if you are a hardcore fan, but hardly a bargain. It may be an investment, but it's digital media the apple gimic may make it worth something, who knows?

There are 30,000 being produced, the 100 isn't the number available to the UK, it's the number available for pre-order, after those 100 are gone there will be others on a 1st come 1st served basis after launch.
#19
Good as a gift. . . but then again so is the box set at £40 cheaper. Will you be able to burn this to a CD to listen in a car once you have it do you think? Or will it be protected?

STILL COLD THOUGH!

Well im happy with this. I didn’t see the point of re-mastered in 24 bit then pushing it down to 16 bit CD quality. Its a minority product for people with decent HiFis with and the ability to play 24 bit files properly (not from a dodgy PC soundcard) in a hi-end system.

Im am sure a lot of people will disagree with this, go ahead......

My dodgy Audigy 4 does 24bit
#23
Anyone know about burning these to CD from those though? Obviously quality will be compressed as mentioned above, but will have means to play 24bit on PC anyway.

Well done, what amp and speakers (and DAC) are you using it with?
#25
Strange that its only 100 available, there's 30,000 being made, so its not actually that limited if anyones thinking of taking it onto Antiques Roadshow in 30-40 years!

I would just save the processing power on your PC and set it all to 16 bit if I were you, you would never know the difference.

What sort of thing? Decent HiFi?

If they guaranteed to only release 100 worldwide this would have some real value given the amount of beatles fans/collectors
