Hi
Thanks for posting. It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 / Juliet_Bravo wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guides for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/

I have added an image to your post. This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/

Just checked, Quidco has tracked at £8.14 :-D
As for vinyl, I wouldn't know, as I've never had a record deck :)

I'd go along with that but I think that's just because I find more of a warmth to the whole thing - even the crackles... Good Lord... Is my age showing?!?

Obviously so...

I'd still love this if I had the money to spare I'd have ordered before typing this!!!

I love the various Mirror Spock/Dr Ebbett needledrops, but in lossless the remasters do sound marginally better.

There are plenty of others that do sound much better than their CD replacements though (Ziggy Stardust etc.).
I am also a big SACD/DVDA fan though...

Can't be a bargain for the price. It's a rip-off price for a re-mastering job. There's been soooo much publicity about this release that it's infuriating. £160 or £200 for the monos - feck off Yoko!:p

Just play the original vinyl, (get it 2nd hand if you haven't got it), get hold of a cheap record player or turntable, stick it on, crank up the volume and hear it as most people heard it when it was first released - magic!

A very good comment worthy of the rep you are about to recieve... Especially for one point in particular, but I wonder if you can guess which point I mean!!! :whistling:

After speaking to my local record store (RPM Newcastle) they think there is a Vinyl pressing coming of this box set in about a month or two from what they hear. I think I would go for the vinyl or even wait another few years for some sort of 24 bit version (they are trying to sell this to people 6 times over you know people ; ).
