I wish it were this price for other consoles. I have rock band, guitar heros all the way from 3 to 5 on ps3 and xbox360. Now I have realise what the benefits of owning them on the wii would have been.

Anyone know where to get rock band, guitar hero world tour and guitar hero 5 on the wii for cheap?

also guitar hero 3.

Un-bl**dy-believeable. I can't believe I paid full whack for this game. I should have known that it would tank in price as soon as the initial rush was over.

Way to screw over the fans that bought this game on release day.

Just ordered one for the hubby thanks for sharing

If it makes it less painful, they're just mopping up your consumer surplus... ;-)

Depends whats ya thing! You'll need either a guitar, drums or mic or all! but most start with just a guitar. This website has some good info, including the track titles & which instruments are compatiable etc ...http://www.thebeatlesrockband.com/game (not linked in anyway) Have fun

Great deal, is this online only or in store as well?
Nevermind seen their disclaimer at the bottom of the page, online only. Still a hot deal though
#28
Excellent, just snapped one up.

I was planning to wait for the 360 version but at £14.99 you can't go wrong.

Only thing I need now is a guitar. Can anyone please point me in the direction of the cheapest wii guitar which is compatible? I obviously would prefer a wireless one but not fussy.

There's not a wired or wireless guitar for the wii. There's a space in the guitar that the wiimote goes into to make it work.

Now dilemma time - we have guitar hero on the wii so have a guitar but big xmas suprise for my hubbie is that I've bought him an xbox 360 which he has wanted for about 3 yrs and I've said don't be ridiculous we hvave got 2 xbox's , a wii , a playstation 1 , etc , etc! , so he will be amazed with this pressie.

Do I get this game on 360 or wii?? bearing in mind we already have a guitar for the wii?

Obviously i can't ask him this question! Lol :p

Do you see yourself getting into the regular Rock Band games in the future? If so then the 360 would be a better long term bet, as you won't need 4 wiimotes to have a full band setup, and you'll be able to do stuff like transferring all the songs from an older game (currently RB1, will be able to do this with RB2 when RB3 comes out) or side game (Lego Rock Band, AC/DC trackpack) to the 360 hard drive, so all the songs show up in the latest game. You can't do that on the wii.

Also, the 360 will be getting Rock Band Network, which the Wii won't. The basic idea of RBN is that if you are a band, you can create a Rock Band song out of your own song, using exactly the same tools that Harmonix do, and then they'll sell it on the Rock Band Network store. As it will remove the bottleneck that means Harmonix can only make 10 DLC a week (or so), there will soon be thousands and thousands of songs to download. As a consumer, as well as a massively increased selection of songs, you'll also benefit because every song will come with a free demo (first minute or 35% of a song, whichever is less) so you can try before you buy.
