Ahead of Apple's planned announcement scheduled for about half an hour from now that has been expected to see content from The Beatles finally come to the iTunes Store, that content has already gone live. The offerings are headed by The Beatles Box Set, offering a total of 256 songs and other items, including iTunes LP mini-documentary features and a video of the band's first U.S. concert, all for £125.00.

Individual albums featuring enhanced iTunes LP content are also available, with the majority of them priced at £10.99 and a few others including "The White Album" and several greatest hits collections available. Songs are generally also available on a per-track basis priced at £0.99 each.

Thanks for the photo, I'd often wondered what the Beatles looked like.

This should be hot, due to Apple announcing this after years of trying to get them to work together.

That's the big itunes announcement they've been advertising! Great, an opportunity for people to buy music they already own at prices higher than they already paid :)

but is it a deal? are their tracks cheaper than other artists on itunes? yes, they have resisted itunes for a long time and now they are available but I dont believe this qualifies as a deal?

I think the beatles are so far up their own.......

Why not allow people to enjoy downloads of their music before now

Apple does not have a good historic relationship with the Beatles/Apple:

Cold, this is not a deal, the music is available elsewhere much cheaper for years! The "big announcement" was such a let down too :-|

Sorry £10.99 is a rip off... the same albums are available on Amazon for £7.99. Digital is suppose to be cheaper than physical media!

After buying the same album on vinyl record, tape, cd, re-mastered cd and finally console game, we can now buy it all over again on iTunes, brilliant, marketing genius.

I wish I could continue to get paid millions for work I did 50 years ago.

Couldn't be any colder for me...
