this is very bad value, i have seen entire season 1 and 2 at 5.99 each in Morrisons and some other online places have it at around that price too, so why pay for few episodes when you can have entire season for couple quid more?

Maybe people just want a little reminder of this cheesy vintage bit of hokum before they tune in to the "All-new Bionic Eastenders cheeky Cock-er-nee Woman".....(that cheesy, modern bit of hokum)

The new US TV series THE BIONIC WOMAN has proved to be a smash hit with television audiences. The first episode in the series pulled in over 13 million viewers on its debut giving the show the largest audience in its particular time slot. It had the biggest audience since the 1999 premiere of the critically acclaimed THE WEST WING.

Former Eastenders star Michelle Ryan plays the title role in the show, a barmaid whose body is rebuilt using top secret technology following a car accident.

BIONIC WOMAN, which airs on NBC in the US, will come to British shores in 2008 with it being broadcast on digital channel ITV2.

One IMDB reviewer did post.....

There really isn't a lot that one could say about Bionic Woman other than the fact that it might possibly be the worst show in the history of television. The suspense factor was absolute ZERO and I've seen better acting on RonCo infomercials at 4:00 in the morning. Am I one of these trolls that are out to bash every Sci-Fi title? Absolutely not, I love science fiction shows, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Its become painfully apparent that NBC is doing nothing more than attempting to piggyback off the success last years breakout sci-fi hit and so they blindly green-lit Bionic Woman expecting the same result. Mericfully NBC has a history of canceling shows rather quickly so with any luck they'll give Bionic Woman the window treatment in an attempt to fill the hour with worthwhile programming. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.....
